Mt. Horeb Intermediate Center

This was a fast-track GMP project on a 90,000 square-foot school that was completed in under a year. The facility includes state-of-the-art lighting, two computer labs, a library, kitchen, site lighting, and a gymnasium for 600 third, fourth, and fifth graders. Westphal & Co., Inc. installed a back-up generator, upgraded life safety systems, and support for 30 new classrooms equipped with special needs facilities. An underground, ½ mile fiber-optic line linked this school with the middle and high schools for integration into their new phone and computer system.
