Job Summary: The Electrical Service Manager – Janesville oversees the daily operations of electrical service and maintenance at Westphal & Company-Janesville. This role involves working closely with electricians, coordinators, project managers, and vendors to ensure customer satisfaction, profitability, and achievement of departmental and company goals. The manager is also responsible for recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and the supervision of electricians in the Wisconsin Service Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce customer estimates for service projects across various sectors.
- Schedule and supervise Service Electricians, providing technical support to meet customer needs and timelines.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate Service Electricians.
- Review electrician work to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to standards.
- Manage work orders, vendor invoices, and ensure accurate billing and timely material orders.
- Oversee service vehicle maintenance and inventory management.
- Stay up-to-date with technical issues, codes, and industry trends.
- Maintain communication with vendors and manufacturers.
- Organize regular meetings with team members to share information and improve operations.
